To all our family and friends - we want to wish you a wonderful time celebrating the rededication of the temple through Chanukah and the birth our Lord Jesus at Christmas. We decided to send our greeting card via this newsletter, and what a glorious month that we are approaching. It is amazing to think that at the fullness of time, God sent Jesus. We have been meditating on this concept of God's perfect and sovereign timing of everything in billions of peoples' lives simultaneously. He is the great choreographer. In light of this, the signifance of Chanukah cannot be underestimated. For without Chanukah there would be no Christmas because there would have been no temple for the Lord to fullfill all that He was sent to do. Jesus, even honors this holiday, as seen in John 10 when he goes up to the Feast of Dedication. November Update:
Some highlights from this month: forming a friendship with a new visitor, having the Korean Pastor come and speak at our weekly worship meeting, making connections with the Shawnee Indians (and finding out that one of the main ladies is a Christain), the Thanksgiving Ice Cream Social, and a special lecture given by Rabbi on self-idenity.
