Celebrating!

This past month our focus primarily has been on celebrating all the high holy days. This picture shows some of us eating in Adat Yeshua's sukkah. It was such a joy to enter this new year with a time of reflection, repentance and renewal.

We have also had two sermons this month that have helped bring clarity to our congregation's journey. The first explained our definition of a Biblical worldview, outlining the kingdoms and idolatry that mankind has to choose from. Many of our insights on principalities and Jewish roots were incorporated into this hot topic of "having a Biblical worldview."

We also had a sermon on Messianic Godfearers, which is a point of identity that we have come to appreciate. Godfearers are those Gentiles throughout history that have identified with the God of Israel and the moral and behavioral expectations that God has on Gentiles. The title Messianic Godfearers intends to communicate that we also believe that Jesus is the Messiah of the Jews and the Redeemer of mankind through the nation of Israel. Recent surveys reveal that most people in the body of Christ struggle to find their identity and purpose in life, so we are very blessed to be making progress in these two areas.

If you care to join us in prayer, please ask for clarity as we are seeking the Lord for direction in this new year.
