Almost Ready!

Hats off goes to Tom Blake this month. He has worked faithfully at the Merriam House of Prayer (MHOP) to get it in order for opening day which will be March 5. The MHOP will be open from 11-2 Mon- Fri. We had a church cleaning day this month at the MHOP. My sister and niece, Courtney and Shanley, were in town that weekend and helped out as well. We hope you enjoy the pictures below.

In addition to the exciting news at the MHOP, this month we also invited people to our Sunday services. We have had several visitors who have come this month and a few are now regular attenders. We feel blessed to have them as part of our body. Paul has done a great job teaching on the Holy Spirit which has set the platform for a time of worship led by Mark. In the worship and waiting on the Lord time, we were encouraged as several visitors said they felt the Lord was saying something specific to them.
Paul took a two night retreat this month at a local abbey. While he was there, he sought direction from the Lord as to the next steps we should be taking. Getting away from the responsibilities of ministry was very helpful, and he returned with less weight on his shoulders despite having all of the action still moving ahead full speed.
Our Jewish classes and Friday night Sabbath services that we attend are going well. We continue to be amazed at our Jewish Messiah, who through His grace has allowed us to be part of His family in the commonwealth of Israel. Saturday's study on the city and spiritual warfare continue to be fascinating as well.
We ended this month by having a celebration party at our house, everyone shared memories of what has impacted them the most in these last months and what they are looking forward to.
On a personal note: We are excited to announce that Tom (Paul's brother) and Leah had Cassidy Faith on Feb. 13. She is simply beautiful. Seeing this new life has brought a whole new excitement for us, as we are antcipating little Noah. We have started to work on getting his room ready. We can hardly believe that we only have three more months to go.
