This month we particapated in Purim at Adat Yeshua, where they had a musical on the story of Esther. The cast did a wonderful job with writing the script, acting and singing. On Purim, people are encouraged to dress up as an act of relating with Esther who hid her idenity until the proper time in order to save the Jewish people. Below you can see some of our customes.
For Easter, we had a service Sunday night, and Paul spoke on the emphasis of the resurrection in the book of Acts.
City Focus: We have started a 4o day night watch that is four nights a week from midnight to 3am. The emphasis is to pray for our city. We have had some really powerful times with the Lord. On Tuesday night, we have been going to IHOP (International House of Prayer) to join with their 2-3 am prayer team that focuses on Kansas.
Paul has two official commitments from pastors in Merriam to begin praying together weekly, and two others are "getting close." So if all five of them unite in prayer, we are expecting this to be significant in a town of only nine churches.
We hope you enjoy the pictures.
